During this period the Moths were rather hostile to the newcomers to the galactic stage, and most early human encounters with them would result in piracy and violence. Mothpeople first met Humankind around 150 years ago, during a period of unprecedented expansion that saw humanity finding that not only were they not alone in the universe, but that they were far from alone. The Moths are a spacefaring people through and through, with the Grand Nomad Fleet having served as their home for centuries. Originally hailing from a planet that has since been lost, the Moths now reside aboard the Grand Nomad Fleet, travelling space on an eternal hunt for a new homeworld.
